THE LEGENDS OF THE LANES

The Lanes is the oldest part of Brighton, a maze of streets bounded by North, East and West Street. The Market, the Monastic Farm, the Poorhouse and Fishermen's Cottages managed to squeeze into this area.. Every building, alley and twitten has a story to tell. I can tell you these stories. I will show you where Lord Olivier made his stage debut, where the Beatles played. The favourite pubs of Graham Greene and Patrick Hamilton, where Oscar Wilde liked to dine.

I can show you smugglers' haunts and many other suprising places.
